League Handbook

Prop League is a performance-verification, league-ranking and talent-discovery platform for prop traders and prop firms. It creates a persistent record from eligible trading activity, ranks that record under published competition rules and gives firms a structured way to identify emerging trading talent.

Prop League is not a prop trading firm, broker, exchange, investment adviser or custodian. It does not place trades, move money, issue funded accounts or decide whether a trader should buy or sell a financial instrument.

A trader may build one verified career record while appearing in different competitions. Each competition answers a distinct question and therefore uses a distinct entry and scoring model.

This handbook is the public operating reference. The Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice and any dated competition notice shown in the product also apply. A notice may set dates, deadlines and operational details, but it cannot silently replace a material scoring or eligibility rule in this handbook.

Material rule changes are versioned, dated and applied prospectively. Prop League will not retroactively alter a completed result merely to create a different competitive outcome. Confirmed data errors and technical defects may be corrected so the rule already in force is applied accurately.

A Verified Trader Profile is the trader’s persistent identity across supported prop firms. Results are organised under one public handle so changing firm or connection provider does not create a clean slate or fragment the trader’s career history.

Handles are public by default. A legal name is not made public unless the trader chooses to display it or disclosure is required to complete a firm relationship, investigate an integrity issue or comply with law.

Source-verified performance is received through a supported, authorised connection and processed under Prop League’s account and scoring rules. Screenshots, edited statements and manually entered results are not used to establish a league standing.

An eligible result that has entered a competition remains part of the relevant season record. Closing an account, changing a handle, leaving a firm or revoking a connection does not erase performance already recorded. Corrections are logged and are made only where the source data or its classification was wrong.

Closing a Prop League account disables future access, connections and participation; it does not rewrite completed standings. The public profile is marked inactive. If data law requires removal of the public handle, the historical result may be anonymised rather than deleted.

Prop League requests only the access needed to identify eligible accounts, receive trading activity and calculate performance. A Prop League connection cannot be used to place an order, change a position or withdraw funds.

A connection may use OAuth, an API credential or another provider-supported method. The exact data available varies by provider, so an account is not admitted until it satisfies the verification rules for that connection type.

Prop League classifies each connected account by its actual funding stage. Evaluation and challenge accounts are excluded from league scoring. A funded account that still trades simulated capital is eligible for the Sim League; a funded account trading live capital is eligible for the Live League.

A connection must remain available while an account is active. If a trader deliberately revokes, disables or prevents verification of a connection, every active eligible account on that connection is treated as blown. The classification applies whether the connection contains one account or several and cannot be avoided by closing the Prop League profile.

Prop League will perform a final reconciliation where source data remains available. Results and scoring history already recorded remain permanent. A later reconnection does not reset the career record or restore a run that was correctly classified as blown.

Provider outages, scheduled maintenance and expired tokens not caused by the trader do not automatically count as a blown account. The connection is placed under review and the trader normally has 72 hours to restore access. Deliberate interference, selective disconnection or repeated suspicious failures may remove that grace period. An incorrect classification can be appealed within seven days.

The Prop Rating is the platform’s universal quality number, built from the trader’s last 365 days across every funded account they hold — sim and live, every firm. Activity older than 365 days leaves the window; the rating carries across seasons and is unaffected by a sim P&L reset.

Three scores out of 100 are multiplied into one number shown on a 0–1 display scale (for example ×0.84). Each score is the trader’s exact stat, floored at 1 so no single figure can zero a real record:

Success

The share of finished accounts that won — a won account ends with $1,000 or more of profit. Applies once three accounts have finished.

Consistency

100 minus the best single day's share of the 365-day P&L. A losing window scores 1.

Green

The share of active days finishing $100 or more up. Any traded day counts as active.

A trader has no rating until they have five active trading days in the window. The rating recomputes on the published processing schedule, is displayed wherever the trader appears, and is read by firms in the Transfer Market. The Sim League is the open proving ground for traders using eligible funded accounts that remain on simulated capital. An account must be connected through a supported provider, linked to a recognised prop firm and classified as funded. Evaluation and challenge accounts do not count.

The Sim League is ranked by points. A trader’s points base is the combined season P&L of every eligible sim-funded account in their record — there is no manually selected “best account”. Profitable and losing accounts contribute to the same total, and realised losses from blown or retired accounts remain included.

Points are the season P&L multiplied by the trader’s Prop Rating and divided by 100. Points never go below zero: a losing season shows zero points with the real P&L displayed untouched. A trader who is not yet rated holds a points base but no ranked points until the rating exists.

Sim-funded accounts can be held in volume. Combining every eligible result prevents a trader from opening multiple accounts and publishing only the winner. The scoreboard rewards total performance while preserving the cost of failed runs.

A run is won when it finishes with $1,000 or more of profit — closed, passed to live, or alive at season’s end. A run confirmed blown is blown, whatever it made on the way. A run that closes between the two is neutral: it does not count as finished. These definitions feed the Prop Rating’s Success score; active runs and unverifiable legacy records are excluded.

Equal Sim League points are resolved in this order:

1. higher success rate;
2. lower maximum drawdown;
3. more profitable trading days; then
4. the trader who first achieved the final tied result.

The Live League is reserved for verified live-funded accounts. A trader designates one eligible account as their locked entry. Parallel live entries are not permitted, and a lock cannot be moved simply because another account is performing better.

The locked account’s post-entry P&L solely determines the trader’s current Live League standing. The trader cannot switch voluntarily while that account remains active merely because another account is performing better.

The trader’s Prop Rating is displayed beside their Live League standing but never affects the Live ranking — the Live League ranks on the run’s P&L alone. Live activity does feed the rating’s 365-day window like any other funded activity.

If the account is confirmed blown, that run closes and remains permanently visible in the career record. The trader may then enter another eligible live-funded account held with a different supported firm. The new run starts from zero and becomes the only run used for the active standing; it is not combined with the previous run. Only one Live League account may be active at any time.

Live capital is scarce and controlled by the funding firm. That real-world gate creates friction that does not exist across a large set of sim-funded accounts. The Live League therefore measures the quality of a single verified run rather than combining several accounts at once.

Equal Live League P&L is resolved in this order:

1. lower maximum drawdown;
2. more profitable trading days; then
3. the trader who first achieved the final tied result.

Prop League is the firm-versus-firm competition. Approved prop firms field an official team of ten verified traders and are ranked by the equal-weighted percentage return produced by that team during the season.

Every team trader must have an eligible, source-verified account designated for team scoring. The account must have a starting balance of at least $10,000 when its scoring window opens. A trader cannot occupy two official firm teams at the same time.

Each eligible team account is measured against its verified starting balance. Each trader’s percentage return carries equal weight and the team score is the average of all ten returns. A larger account therefore does not carry more influence than a smaller eligible account. Corrections to source data flow through to the team score.

A firm may make one substitution in each calendar month. A substitution changes the active team prospectively; it does not erase the outgoing trader’s verified career record or rewrite activity recorded before the change took effect. The incoming trader begins contributing at the official change time. Unused monthly substitutions do not accumulate. A vacant team place does not reweight the remaining traders or create replacement performance.

Equal team returns are resolved in this order:

1. lower average maximum drawdown across the ten traders;
2. more profitable traders in the team; then
3. the team that first achieved the final tied result.

If a required metric is genuinely unavailable for either team, that metric is skipped and the next tie-break is applied.

Rankings are calculated from eligible source data under the rules of the relevant competition — the Sim League by points, the Live League by the active run’s P&L, the Prop League by team return. The public Sim and Live League features present the top 100 with each trader’s Prop Rating displayed. Prop League publishes the official firm table and the verified team information needed to understand each standing.

A connected account may appear as qualifying, pending review, withdrawn or unranked before it contributes to a public position. These states distinguish a verified but incomplete record from an eligible ranked result; they are not discretionary performance scores.

Ranking, eligibility and top-100 visibility are produced by published rules, not an artificial-intelligence assessment. Firms make their own human decisions about profile views, shortlists and offers. Prop League can explain the principal data and rule that produced a standing or eligibility status.

A user may request human review of a data, classification, eligibility or calculation error. A reviewer may correct a confirmed error, but will not change a result simply because a user dislikes the published outcome.

Rankings update on the published processing schedule and may change when a delayed provider record, classification review or confirmed correction is processed. Corrections are recorded so dependent profile, ranking and team results remain consistent.

The Transfer Market turns verified league performance into a structured talent-discovery process. Sim League traders in the top 100 are eligible throughout the year. Live League traders in the top 100 are eligible during the off-season.

Eligibility makes a trader discoverable; it does not guarantee a profile view, shortlist, offer, funded account or place on a Prop League team.

Eligibility ends when the trader leaves the relevant top 100, becomes ineligible, is suspended or leaves the Platform. The historical qualification remains part of the career record.

Approved firms can compare eligible verified profiles, add traders to an internal shortlist and send an offer through the platform. Firms may not scrape, bulk export, sell or use talent data for unrelated marketing or off-platform contact without permission.

An offer must identify the firm and set out the proposed account size, profit split, any sign-on bonus, team place, material conditions, expiry and further checks. The trader may accept, decline or, where enabled, counter the offer.

A trader may accept one compatible team offer for a season. Acceptance closes incompatible outstanding offers and creates an official team registration, subject to final eligibility and firm checks. The trader is committed to that firm’s team for the season unless Prop League approves an exceptional change.

An offer or registration may be invalidated for fraud, ineligibility, firm non-payment or a material rules breach.

An accepted offer creates a relationship directly between the trader and the firm under the firm’s contract. Prop League facilitates the introduction and records the platform outcome; it does not guarantee the firm’s obligations, trader earnings, account availability or the suitability of the agreement.

Traders and firms are responsible for reviewing the final contract, legal position, tax treatment and regulatory status that apply to them before entering the relationship.

Users must not attempt to:

• connect an account they do not own or control;
• misrepresent an account’s firm, funding stage or balance;
• manipulate, duplicate or selectively suppress source data;
• use coordinated accounts to manufacture a misleading result;
• exploit an error or withhold information that changes eligibility;
• misuse talent-discovery data or submit a misleading firm offer;
• evade a suspension, team restriction or scoring window; or
• interfere with the platform, a provider connection or another user.

Prop League may place a result, profile, connection or offer on hold while it checks eligibility, identity, source data or suspected abuse. A hold is not itself a finding of misconduct. Where practical, the affected user will be told what is being reviewed and what information is required.

Prop League may require evidence, correct a classification, remove an ineligible result, restrict access, adjust a standing, disqualify an entry, remove talent-discovery access, suspend or permanently exclude a user, withdraw firm approval or invalidate an offer or team registration. Measures are proportionate to the issue. Fraud findings, permanent exclusions and equivalent serious sanctions receive human review.

A user may request review of a classification or calculation by providing the relevant account, provider and date range. Prop League may obtain source evidence from the connection provider or firm. A confirmed correction is applied consistently to the trader record, league standing and any dependent team result.

An appeal must normally be submitted within seven days of the decision. Where practical, a different reviewer considers the appeal. Obvious calculation or source-data errors may be corrected at any time. Review requests should be sent to support@propleague.com. Contract disputes between a trader and firm must be handled under their own agreement, although Prop League may preserve relevant platform records.

Prop League administers eligibility, account classification, standings, team records and integrity reviews. It may update a technical process where a provider or market structure changes, provided the competitive principle and treatment of existing results remain fair and transparent.

Each season has a dated, versioned handbook. A normal material change receives at least 30 days’ notice and applies from the next season unless it benefits users without disadvantaging others. Immediate changes are reserved for law, security, provider failure or competition integrity and will be documented with the reason and effective time. Fixing a defect so the existing rule works as written is not a new rule.

Dates, cut-offs and administrative deadlines may be updated before the relevant deadline with reasonable notice. Prop League keeps archived handbook editions so the rule governing a prior result can be identified.

Career record

The persistent history of eligible, source-verified results associated with a trader profile.

Funded account

An account that has passed the firm’s evaluation and is classified by the provider as sim-funded or live-funded.

Locked entry

The single live-funded account designated to represent a trader’s current Live League run.

P&L

Profit and loss calculated from eligible post-entry activity under the connection’s available source data.

Points

The Sim League ranking measure: combined season P&L multiplied by the trader’s Prop Rating and divided by 100, floored at zero.

Prop Rating

The trader’s universal quality number, built from the last 365 days across every funded account: the Success, Consistency and Green scores multiplied and shown on a 0–1 display scale. It carries across seasons and requires five active days to exist.

The defined period during which eligible activity contributes to a result. A disconnect closes the current window.

Source-verified

Received and classified through an authorised supported connection rather than submitted manually by the user.

Transfer Market

The platform process through which approved firms discover, shortlist and send offers to eligible traders.

Team registration

The official record placing an eligible trader in one firm’s ten-trader team for a Prop League season.
